The work is devoted to the problem of formation of legal competence scientifically-pedagogical workers of higher school in the system of methodical work of higher educational establishment. The work the theoretical model of legal competence of scientific-pedagogical workers of higher school is offered, its components and constituents, levels of formed, parameters and methods of their evaluation is certain. During a forming experiment developed and approved educational tutorial of forming of legal competence of scientific-pedagogical workers of higher school which includes the authoring special course , didactics complex of terms and facilities of forming of legal competence, organizational and pedagogical terms of its realization; methodical recommendations for the leaders of higher educational institutions of III-IV levels of accreditation in relation to the improvement of scientific-methodical work on development of legal competence scientifically pedagogical workers. As a result of experiment the improvement of levels of formed legal competence is exposed.
