Essay

The dissertation thesis is dedicated to theoretical and methodical issues of formation of the positive international image of Ukraine to increase the investment attractiveness of the country and its equitable entrance to world economy system. It is proven in the dissertation work that methodological basis for defining of concepts "country brand" and "image of the country" are concepts of brand and image of a product. Definitions of "country brand" and "image of the country" are formulated in the thesis and their correlation is analyzed. On that ground the method of development of strategy of forming of international image of the country is improved by the selection of the consequent stages: research of international image of the country; forming of positive international image of the country; programs and projects development on realization of strategy of forming of positive international image of the country; programs and projects development on forming of positive international image of the country. These stages are confirmed by the results of international marketing research which was conducted by support of Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine on forming of positive international image of Ukraine at the level of perception of subjects of entrepreneurial activity of Ukraine.
