The Ph.D. thesis is dedicated to an analysis of regularities and peculiarities of a goal statement and of a goal achievement of Ukraine in the postbipolar international relations system. The system of national interests, foreign policy tasks and foreign policy goals of Ukraine reflects needs of Ukrainian nation and state buildings and also falls under the influence of international systems factor.The international systems status of Ukraine in terms of a power protection potential and of a power development potential is estimated on the investigation what finishes by the elaboration of its official international stance.Ukraine's foreign policy evolution stage is investigated within the framework of a goal oriented paradigm of a foreign policy activity in terms of a national interest, a foreign policy task and a foreign policy goal.The systems vision of contemporary national interests' priorities of Ukraine, its foreign policy tasks and geopolitical directions is proposed.Modern trends of international relations are proved to be taken into consideration in the process of a perspective foreign policy planning.Optimal models of Ukraine's foreign policy in a mid-term period are introduced.
