Essay

This paper deals with analyses of scientific heritage of traditional Podillya culture research during 20 - 30s XX century. It describes activities of ethnographical centres, committees, societies belonging to the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences of learning folk Podillya culture. It reveals different branches of culturolocal work of ethnographical Podillya centres, learns and summaries research in the system of organizing museums, ethnographical excursions and expeditions, proves different forms of fixing the ethographical materials, contribution of scientific regional societies in the development of the ethnological Podillya research.
