The object of the research is choreographic culture of USA and West Europe of the XX century. The laws and the results of the ballet-masters’ creative search of the West of the XX century, particularly, the role of women-choreographers in the creative ideas spreading of the modern-dance and the postmodern-dance are defined in the given work. Originality of the research work is brand new results of factology study of choreographic art development of the West in the XX century and introduction of the interpretative strategies in the dance science, that still have not been used in the complex culturological analysis.
