Essay

The object of the research is tea ceremony in its Chinese and Japanese versions. In this dissertation philosophic, aesthetic and sociocultural aspects of tea ceremony in its Chinese and Japanese versions are investigated. The main stages of the development of the tea culture in China and Japan are covered. For the first time in Ukrainian science the functions and base philosophic principles of the Chinese tea ceremony are determined, their interpretation in the medieval ages and in the present day researches is given, the contemporary analysis of the Chinese and Japanese models of the tea rite is made. Material, names of Chinese and Japanese masters related to the tea culture have been made public. The branch – culturology, the theory and history of culture.
