Shevchuk G. Art-therapeutical means of maternal identity of pregnant women researching

This research is devoted to the specificity of application of art-therapeutical means (thematic/psycho pictures) for maternal identity of pregnant women researching. It was made in this thesis an attempt of conceptual and empirical validity of the notion "maternal identity", determination of its structure, content and types (holistic maternal identity, diffuse maternal identity and undeveloped maternal identity) from the point of view of humanistic approach. It was built and tested the algorithm of empirical research of specificity art-therapy technique application for researches of maternal identity. It was verified the sets of criteria for qualitative and quantitative processing of thematic pictures "I am a mother", "My baby and I", I am a woman". It was researched psychologic pecularities of maternity identity formation at pregnant women, who bear the first baby, the second and the third-sixth baby. It was confirmed the high psycho-diagnostic potential of picture methods and discovered a necessity in principal of development and implementation of differential system of psychological support for pregnant women according to psychological typology of maternal identity grounding on the results of empirical researches of maternal identity of pregnant women using art-therapeutical remedies.
