Essay

The thesis is devoted to research of the Сouncil of Europe treaties in criminal matters and their systematization and state of their implementation in the legal system of Ukraine. On the basis of classification of the Сouncil of Europe treaties with reference to subject, the group of treaties, which regulate relations in criminal legal sphere, is selected. The place of European convention on human rights in the system of Сouncil of Europe treaties in criminal matters, the features of its implementation in the legal system of Ukraine, are investigated. Practice of the European court of human rights is analyzed relatively to the most widespread violations of the ECHR.
