Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the questions of quality improvement of the finished surfaces and the wear resistance of machine details. The work suggests the instrument with the cut slots inclined in different direction for the increase shearing strain in the area of the contact between the instrument and the detail. The heat shearing in the area of contact between the instrument and the detail, the forming of the strengthened layer, thickness, hardness and residual stress, the formation of micro-geometry of the finished surface and its influence for the wear resistance was researched. The technological processes of the superficial strengthening of machine details were developed and implemented.
