The problem of using project technology in the process of teaching history in the tenth form of comprehensive school is investigated in the work. The author analyses the scientists' approaches to possibilities of using project technology in the process of teaching history in school, he light up the modern state of problem in the practice of Ukrainian comprehensive schools. In the work the conceptual apparatus of dissertation is explained, the main aspects of project technology in teaching history as methodological category is grounded. The author light up the questions of project's formation and development in methods of teaching history in school, he characterizes history competence as general result of project work. The questions of effectiveness in using project technology in teaching history in the tenth form on the basis of competent approach are lit up, the content and the process of project work's organization in the tenth form are described. The attention is paid to the experimental verification method that was worked out by author in using project technology in the process of teaching history in the tenth form of Ukrainian comprehensive school.
