Essay

The research object is the chronic form of autoimmune thyroiditis (AIT) and its treatment. The research aim is to prove the expediency of application of the native and cryopreserved fetal liver cells (FLS) at AIT on the basis of theoretic and experimental models of the desease. The research methods are biochemical, immunological, cytological and statistical ones. While carrying out the work the theoretical model of AIT was developed. The levels of the thyroid hormons, autoantibody titers and the immune status of the experimental animals were investigated. At the theoretical and experimental models of AIT the advisability of use of the native and cryopreserved products of fetoplacental complex in the form of FLS for AIT treatment was demonstrated. The results of the work can be used while the development of new methods of AIT treatment and the improvement of the existing ones.
