Essay

The thesis deals with the studying of the dynamics of the generation disturbances of pro- and antiinflammatory cytokines, hemostasis, the intensity of fibrinolysis, proteolysis and lipoperoxidation in the tissues of the eye and viscera of rats and rabbits in case of a combined penetrating sclera injury with intraocular or systemic introduction of endotoxins of gramnegative and grampositive microflora and pathogenetically substantiated efficacy of indomethacin in their correction. It has been established that in case of sclera injury intraocular introduction of endotoxins of gramnegative microflora increases the content of TNF-б, IL-1в, TGF-в1 in vitreous body and introduction of endotoxins of grampositive microflora increases the content г- INF. The lysis intensity of low -, high molecular proteins and collagen, lipid peroxidation substantially increases, variously aimed changes of fibrinolytic activity occur. Due to systemic introduction of endotoxin of gramnegative microflora the IL- 2, IL-12, г- INF and TNF-б in the vitreous body, the intensity of proteolytic destruction of low – and high molecular proteins, lipoperoxidation and non- enzymatic fibrinolytic activity are higher than in case of endotoxin action of grampositive microflora, whereas collagen activity and enzymatic fibrinolysis are lower. Changes of fibrinolytic activity are not the same in the tissues of the spleen, heart, lungs, liver and kindneys in case of systemic endotoxin action of gramnegative microflora, and endotoxin of grampositive microflora increases all kinds of fibrinolytic activity in the tissues of these organs. In both doses applied indometacin promotes a partial normalization of investigated indices, depending upon the dose.
