Essay

The dissertation deals with the complex research of activity of the outstanding Ukrainian hygienist and epidemiologist O.V. Korchak-Chepurkivskyi (1883-1947 years). The main periods of activity of the scientist’s for deepening historical and analytical research are defined in it. The research revealed the conditions of the formation his scientific world outlook of the scientist. The organizational, scientific and experimental work is analyzed there. The teaching activity of the professor is researched. The main directions of the scientist’s are cleared up. The holistic picture of activity O.V. Korchak-Chepurkivskyi is made the conclusion about his considerable contribution in the development of science, history of the science, culture of Ukraine.
