The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive historical and archaeological analysis of ancient coins on the monuments of Chernyakhov culture. Clarified the location and distribution pattern of different categories of ancient coins and their chronological groups, supposed origins of a number of practices related to coins. The first comprehensive analysis of findings on the Chernyakhov monuments Bosporian coins. Identified sources of income, based on the chronological analysis of different categories of coins developed their periodization. Consider the function in an environment of the population of Chernyakhov culture of Roman coins and the Bosporus, as well as "barbarous" imitations of Roman coins.
