Essay

Species diversity and taxonomic of the class Myxomycetes in the Ukrainian forests was found, and the distribution of these organisms within the country's geobotanical regions was shown. Myxomycete ecological groups are determined primarily by substratum and distributional analysis of Myxomycetes in Ukraine was given. Myxomycete diversity in seven forest types were examined. The first specialized web-site "Myxomycetes of Ukraine" was constructed.
