Essay

The analysis of scientific and pedagogical heritage of Kharkov’s University Professor of agronomy A.Zaykevycha is presented in the research. The looks and recommendations of scientist concerning of construction to educational university programs of agronomical direction, development of higher professional education in general are analyzed. The main achievements of scientist in the formation and development of agricultural experimental affair in Ukraine are determined there. The peculiarities, differences and forms of activity, making of scientific, the first research fields are elucidated. As a result of scientific and historical analysis proved exceptionally important of sense programs and scientific-practical generalizations that created by A.Zaykevychem on the base to generalization of results of big number of research institutions. Leading role of Professor A.Zaykevycha in the formation of narrow-professional agricultural scientific research from husbandry, agricultural engineering, seeds of production, nutrition of plants for the future development of native sugar-beets cultivation and grain’s farm at last the nineteenth – in the beginning twentieth century is proved up. The periodization of scientific and pedagogical activity of scientist is worked out. The interconnection of practice activity of A.Zaykevycha and forming of the first scientific-research institutions, branch-industrial associations in Kharkiv is considered. Looks of scientist concerning the preservation of Ukrainian national culture are discovered.
