Essay

Based on the ore mineral deposits in production by underground mining, it is developed and adapted the method for admissible risk assessment concerning economic potential of the mineral-resource base objects. The method is improved for the multi-criteria (multi-factor) selection of perspective mineral-resource base objects which is tested on the example of the open-cast mining mineral deposits. The method is developed to compare the objective operating conditions by the complex of natural factors which is tested on the example of the coal shafts. Assessment of interaction between the mining operations and geological environment is grounded on the evaluation of the bulk influence of natural factors where some of the latter facilitate operational efficiency increasing whereas others suppress mining operations.
