Scientific research dedicated to forecasting, early detection and prevention of infectious-inflammatory complications in the acute period of burn disease. It was found that risk factors for developing infectious-septic complications in severe burnt patients are: the age over 50 years, the total area of burns over 40% of body surface (TBSA), the area of deep burns over 25% (DBSA), the index of severity of injury more than 90 units, inhalation injury of severe degree. It was found that starting treatment de-escalation antibacterial monotherapy with drugs from group of carbopenemv decreased mortality among 1.75 times to compare with combination therapy of 2 or 3 antibiotics components. The algorithm of early diagnosis of burn sepsis with bacterial biomarker procalcitonin using was developed. The using this system of forecasting, early detection and prevention of infectious complications of inflammatory origin in combination with early surgical treatment of extensive deep burns helped to reduce mortality among severe burnt patients at 64.2%, the number of pneumonia - at 56.3%, the number of sepsis - at 55.1%; allowed to shorten the period of preparation wounds to their plastic closure at 16.4% and shorten the period of burn wounds completed healing at 4.9%.
