Tymkiv I. Social and Economic Imperatives of Global Development

The thesis deals with complex research into global imperatives, social and economic imperatives of global development, their nature, structure and peculiarities of their interaction and manifestation in the present day conditions. The author has classified the contemporary imperatives of global development into political, technical and technological, social and economic (economic democracy, intellectualization and virtualization of labour activity, professionalisation and self-development of employees), informational, cultural, ecological and human development imperatives. The author has discovered the principal characteristics of the environment of the generation of global social and economic imperatives, carried out a complex analysis of modifications of conditions and those of labour activity and professional development of employees, researched into and systematized the latest regularities in renewing manpower. The author has carried out research into information resources of Ukraine's economic development, analysed the specific character and potential of the renewal of the national intellectual potential, suggested two directions in raising the intellectual potential of the companies in this country, one being connected with improving the general management in forming the targeted corporate culture, the other - with improving the innovation management systems in the companies. The author has revealed the specific character of economic democracy in Ukraine at different levels: national, local, entrepreneurial.
