The dissertation presents theoretical foundations and development of training future social workers to optimize personal guided education in special institutions for children. In result of research the components of social workers preparedness, indices and levels of their formation and activities to optimize personal directed education in special institutions for children are defined. The essence and content of individually oriented education in special institutions for children in the system of basic training of future social workers are specified.
