Essay

The dissertation finds and analyses the comprehensive challenges in Central Asia, which threaten the Chinese national interests, and also studies the specificity of regional cooperation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as a factor of the Chinese policy towards to other regional countries. A number of the theoretic aspects of the Chinese works, which are not known enough in Ukraine, are put into scientific circulation by the author, give a possibility to study deeply the features of the modern politological views in China of international problem, bring out the new aspects of the development of the official foreign-policy concepts of China in the context of its geostrategy. A new interpretation of the paradigmatic aspects of the policy of China is proposed with due regard for the geopolitical transformations and the formation of the international relations subsystem in Central Asia under the conditions of globalization. The author ascertains that the problems of interaction in the fight with international terrorism, the importance of the energy security problem, the great perspectives of the trade-economic cooperation in the SCO format, especially with China, demand that the Ukrainian political science must properly study and analyze the processes in Central Asia for the purpose of theoretical substantiation of a practice of adaptation of the Ukraine foreign policy to new changes in global international system, searching the optimal practical means of realization of its national interests.
