The thesis is devoted to teaching oral monologue to future German language teachers using drama techniques. In the thesis, a new methodology of teaching creative narrative monologue to future German language teachers using drama techniques was developed: psychological and didactic fundamentals of drama technique use in German language teaching were studied; typical specific linguistic characteristics of creative narrative monologue were defined. Using outcomes of conducted theoretical study, a new methodology of teaching creative narrative monologue including the aim, tasks, content, subsystem of exercises, stages and model was developed. The effectiveness of the suggested methodology of teaching creative narrative monologue to future German language teachers using drama techniques was verified and confirmed during experimental teaching. Based on theoretical study and outcomes resulted from the development and experimental validation of the new methodology, methodological recommendations for teaching creative narrative monologue to future German language teachers using drama techniques were elaborated.
