The dissertation investigates the state, peculiarities, problems and possibilities of perfection of the process of professional training of future teachers of primary school in the conditions of educational complex "pedagogical college - pedagogical university" are analyzed. The organizational and functional model of professional training of future teachers of primary school in the conditions of educational complex "pedagogical college - pedagogical university" is presented. Model basis consists of three-module construction, the semantic filling of components of which is interdependent and intersupplemented. The model involves the subjects, technologies and social and moral aspects of educational and future professional activity of students and enables harmoniously to combine the aims of studying and upbringing. The criterion components of professional training: cognitive, technological and creative. A succession of the content of professional training which is predetermined by different qualifying levels is exposed in research. Principles of selection of content, forms, methods and aids of teaching which provided professional training of future teachers on different levels are substantiated. Experimental researches have been conducted and the efficiency of introduction of the model of professional training of future teachers of primary school in the conditions of educational complex "pedagogical college - pedagogical university" has been determined.
