Essay

The paper presents the results of treatment of 83 patients with esophageal achalasia. Patients spent a core group of esophageal achalasia correction using modified technique, patients of the control group performed traditional operations: esophagokardiomiotomy by Geller on esophagokardiomioplastyk for Dor and operation Hottshteyn-Shalimov. A method for preoperative biopsy muscle layer of the esophagus allowed to estimate the morphological changes at different stages of esophageal achalasia, development associate with the progress of fibrosis stage achalasia and development disorders esophageal peristaltic function. The proposed variant of surgical correction possible to reduce the number of patients with symptoms of reflux after surgery compared with traditional methods. Modified technique to improve esophagokardiomioplastyk antireflux function, creating a higher pressure zone in cardia, and at the same time retains the functional activity of the esophagus due to its greater capacity for relaxation in comparison with traditional methods for Dor. The use of laparoscopic technology has reduced the time spent in intensive care and hospitalization time, time to accelerate rehabilitation of patients.
