Essay

The dissertation research is devoted theoretical and practical investigation of the problem of forming future music and choreography teachers' artistic competence. It was considered the essence of the innovation strategy of the competency approach in higher education teachers' training and the definition of "innovation strategy of the competency approach". The essence and the structural model of the concept "future music and choreography teachers' elementary artistic competence" were substantiated. The point about artistic skills was substantiated and specified theoretically as a kind of future music and choreography teachers' functional skills, which is formed during the pre-university career-oriented training. A methodology of future music and dance teachers artistic competence's level formation diagnosing of Ukrainian and Chinese pedagogical universities with focus on comparative approach.
