The problem of professional competence formation of future marketologists of tourist sphere in the process of professional education had been researched by the author. The basic components of professional competence are analyzed. Theoretical and methodical principles of professional competence formation are presented. The influence of innovative pedagogical technologies on the studing is entirely investigated. Possible trends of tourist industry future development are predicted. The conceptual model of professional competence formation of future specialists of tourist industry is developed.
