Thesis analyze special features of functioning of the traditional cattle-breeding on the flat part of Eastern Halychyna in 1890th - 1930th. The research based on files, statistical documents, other sources, historiographical basis. Special of pasturing, season keeping cattle, stock-breeding production processing, household buildings of the investigated territory are considered in detail. Also examined an economic importance of trade cattle-breeding, the progress conditions of veterinary science and described the national customs and rituals connected with cattle-breeding.
