Prybytko I. The influence of resection of ramus pyloricus nervi vagi on gastric emptying in dogs

Object: mechanisms of regulation of gastric emptying of the stomach and periodical motility of fundul part of stomach and duodenum. Aim: to investigate the influence of resection of ramus pyloricus nervi vagi on gastric emptying of the stomach and periodical motility of fundul part of stomach and duodenum. Methods:draining of duodenum fistulas, balonografic method, statistics methods. Results: It was proposed for prevention postoperative complication in patients after vagotomy of pylorus is necessary to preserve the innervation of pylorus and create some special dietary recommendations for them. Novelty: the vagotomy of pylorus didnt influence time of emptying of carbohydrate food from stomach but decreased duration of the phase of "receptive relaxation" and increased duration of exponential phase; increase the role of enterogastric inhibitory reflex; disturbs discriminating function of pylorus; did not influence the duration of migrating motor complex in duodenum and of duration of his phases .
