Processes of development of institutional investors are in the conditions of harmonization of world financial environment. Exposure of pre-conditions of international institutional harmonization of investment activity of pension fund, estimation of their progress trends in the conditions of globalization of financial environment, development of recommendations, in relation to adaptation of foreign experience of the institutional providing of activity of pension fund in Ukraine taking into account national features. Logiko-dialectical, historical methods, method of factor and structural analysis, system generalization, high-quality and quantitative comparisons. Essence of international institutional harmonization of investment activity of institutional investors is exposed. Directions of harmonization of investment activity of pension fund are systematized after the different types of adjusting: English-American, continental, mixed. Practical recommendations are inculcated in relation to adaptation of international principles of adjusting of activity of non-state pension fund in Ukraine.
