The thesis is devoted to the development of the conceptual principles of formation of the system of library-information support of family doctors' professional work in Ukraine under the conditions of communication environment integration. The essence and characteristic features of library-information support are examined as a purposefully organized communication process of the uninterrupted support of the interaction between the subjects of «the family doctor — the patient» professional work through the complex of information products and services.
