Essay

On the basis of analysis of theoretical principles and practice of functioning of the higher educational institutions of Canada the leading ideas and approaches, fundamental descriptions, features of contents and structure of the modern scientific methodical system of a future teacher training to the professional activity in a multicultural environment are exposed and generalized. The main directions of a future teacher training to the professional activity in a multicultural environment of the general school of Canada are described: (1) study of cultural heritage of peoples and communities of Canada and world; (2) integration of multicultural education to the contents of academic disciplines of general and professional psychological and pedagogical training; (3) mastering the specialized educational courses in a theory and methods of multicultural edu-cation; (4) realization of scientifically-researching activity in area of multicultural education; the social, cultural and organizational pedagogical conditions of providing the efficiency of this process are exposed: (1) realization of integral ap-proach in multicultural education of young people on all levels of the social structure of Canadian society; (2) social and cultural orientation of the contents of the teacher training which answers modern progress of pedagogical education trends; (3) unity of theoretical principles of activity and educational practice in the pedagogical process of the higher establishments of education in the questions of support of cultural diversity; (4) integration of multicultural component to the contents of academic disciplines of general and professional psychological and pedagogical preparation of a teacher; (5) providing the downstream, sequence and continuity of professional pedagogical training of a future teacher in the field of multicultural education - forming of components of multicultural pedagogical competence (upbringing, semantic and instrumental) by facilities of the specially created scientific methodical system. Theoretically generalized positive experience of functioning of the scientific methodical system of professional preparation of a future teacher in the pedagogical education of Canada to realization of professional activity in the multicultural environment of the general school is placed in the basis of scientific grounding and purposeful development of the authorial special academic course "The Basis of Comparative Pedagogics" and components of its educational supplement on principles of integration of multicultural component to the disciplines of professional training which were introduced and tested in the pedagogical process of the higher educational establishments of Ukraine.
