Pashkov S. Strategies of global economic structural and industrial transformation

The dissertation deals with research into strategic imperatives of global economy development, conditions and factors of global structural transformation, national models of structural and industrial modernization. Methodical approaches to the comparative analysis of structural shifts in national economic systems with characteristics of their focus, scale, dynamics and quality have been grounded. It is shown that long-term technological, economic and social progress provide innovative strategies in post-industrial development paradigm. According to the author's methodology structural upgrade potential of countries with different level of economic development have been assessed, determined features of modern structural and sectoral policy of European Union. Transformational structural changes in Ukrainian economy have been analyzed, their effectiveness and compatibility with global scientific and technological, informational and socio-economic challenges have been evaluated. The trends of long-term structural policy of Ukraine, considering endogenous and exogenous factors of influence, have been substantiated, structural and sectoral priorities as to Ukrainian modern European integration policy have been determined.
