Kuchai O. Developing Professional Capacity to Teachers of Informatics in Higher Educational Establishments of Poland.

This thesis focuses on the retrospective analysis of the problem of developing professional capacity to teachers of Informatics in higher educational establishments of Poland. It has been proposed to differentiate between the basic definitions of such fundamental notions as "competence", "capacity", "professional capacity", and "professional capacity of a teacher of Informatics". The analysis of the Polish model of developing the professional capacity of teachers of Informatics has been suggested. The analysis has revealed the basic tendencies of formation and development of informational education in Poland. The necessity to develop the informational culture of teachers has been stated, and the need to establish an effective system of training teachers of Informatics in higher educational establishments of Ukraine has been highlighted. The achievements of Polish teachers in informational education have been analyzed and ascertained, and the conclusion has been made that the main attention in this process is paid to developing basic professional capacities. In the thesis the specific features of training Ukrainian future teachers of Informatics have been generalized and a comparative analysis of informational systems of education in Poland and Ukraine has been made. The results of the analysis has made it possible to emphasize the potential of creative application of the productive ideas of Polish experience in training future teachers of Informatics in the system of pedagogical education of Ukraine.
