Essay

The dissertation presents a complex contrastive and onomasiological analysis of microsystem “marriage” in English, Polish, Czech and Ukrainian, carried out within nominative and idiographic aspects. In the highlight of Contrastive Ethnolinguistic Studies, a structure-semantic and onomasiological reconstruction of microsystem “marriage” is performed, the principles of its semantic-conceptual organization in the English, Polish, Czech and Ukrainian language pictures of the world and revealed. Nucleus and periphery zones of microsystem “marriage” in the contrasted languages are singled out and compared, the main ideographic conceptual domains are revealed.
