Levchuk J. Mass music as socializing factor of youth subcultures of Ukraine.

Dissertation is devoted from a to finding out role and place of youth subculture in modern Ukraine. Important value gets to the problem of influence of mass music on the cultural (subcultural) reference-points of modern youth. Change of political and economic structure, gave a shove to the search of cultural reference-points of the young generation, which can not remain aside to development of cultural values in society on the whole. It is in-process well-proven in the process of careful analysis, that youth subculture is the social phenomenon which represents cultural and historical essence at one time is an exposure of protesting tendencies through a conduct and heard the confession of newly formed "values", which conflicts with cultural traditions of senior generation. A modern cultural environment, characterized by a stylistic variety, which creates terms for a free choice by the young people of cultural standards, which induce a desire realized through those subcultural practices which answer select individual presentation in her. The presented statistical indexes of this research prove that music comes forward as an important socializing factor of modern existence of the Ukrainian young people, carrying out socialeducator measures, mainly, through the institutes of mass medias and outwardly-institutional groups of persons of the same age.
