In dissertation the problem of application of multimedia presentations is investigational in the process of teaching of history of senior pupils. The factors of the effective use of multimedia are analysed in an educational process, that based on ineoieiai-pedagogical researches of influence of making multimedia on psychical processes and development of kognitivnykh possibilities of students, level of treatment of information and mastering of educational maintenance, the modern consisting of problem is reflected of practice of general schools of Ukraine. The concept vehicle of research is certain, general description of multimedia is given, as a didactic mean in the context of his value in teaching of history, the place of multimedia presentation is certain in the system of didactic facilities of teaching, experience of the use of multimedia presentation is generalized on the lessons of history, the ergonometric and methodical terms of application of multimedia presentations and basic going are grounded near their use. Efficiency of method of application of multimedia presentations, built on the basis of the system, active, kompetentnisnogo approaches is well-proven in research, maintenance and organization of work of students is described on the lessons of history with the use of multimedia presentations. The results of experimental verification of the method developed an author are given, which confirm growth of indexes of educational results, in particular in detail historical kompetentnostey students.
