The thesis is dedicated to the problem of future aviation engineers' training for the productive foreign professional activity. The notion "integrated readiness for foreign language using in professional activity" is specified as an important component of professional competence. The main characteristics, structural components of its content, the criteria of diagnostics of students' readiness levels are proposed in the given research. The structural-functional model of formation of future aviation engineers' readiness for using a foreign language in professional activity has been worked out and substantiated (aim, learning principles, teaching methods, psychoeducational conditions, content, stages of studying, components of readiness, criteria, levels, result). The necessary level of readiness and the psychoeducational conditions optimizing readiness for using a foreign language in future profession have been grounded and analyzed.
