Essay

The target of the research is the foreign language speech training of future teachers of a foreign language. The goal of the research is to substantiate and experimentally verify the methods of using speech creative tasks in the process of training of future teachers of English as a way of forming their foreign language speech competence. The originality of the research is in the fact that the methods of sequential using of speech creative tasks, aimed at mastering and reproducing the algorithm of organizing foreign speech activity on different levels (a word-a phrase-a text) by the students in groups, subgroups and individually under the condition of subject - subject character of the relations between teachers and students. The levels of the foreign language speech competence of future teachers of English are characterized. The functions of speech-creative tasks in the process of training of future teachers of English are defined. The essence of such notions as "speech creative activity", "speech creative task" as to the process of training of future teachers of a foreign language has been defined. The theory and methodology of forming foreign language speech competence of future teachers of a foreign language have been further developed.The system of speech creative tasks and the methods of its using have been elaborated, the set of diagnostic tests for the evaluation of the level of future teachers' foreign language speech competence has been created.
