The dissertation focuses on the theoretical and methodical research of the world literature teachers' policultured competence in the post-diploma educational system. The state of the scientific study of the world literature teacher personality's polycultivation, polyculturalism, polycultured approach in the educational system are analyses in the work. It has been worked out the criterions and showings and the forming levels of the world literature teachers' competence has been determined. The model of world literature teachers' competence has been worked out and grounded theoretically. The pedagogical conditions of the effective development of the world literature teachers' competence in the post graduate training system are determined. The special course "The polycultured competence of the world literature teachers as a factor of the professional growth" has been determined. The main purpose of this course is to take possession of the basic concepts and categories of polycultivation by world literature teachers and the development of the introduction skills of polycultured technologies in the world literature subject teaching process as well. Key words: polycultivation, polycultured competence, criterions, indices, forming levels, model, pedagogical conditions of the effective development of the polycultured competence, the development of the world literature teachers' polycultured competence.
