Mandiuk A. The value aspect of physical culture in Ukrainian folklore.

The dissertation focuses on the relation between physical culture values and Ukrainian folklore. Different historical stages of development, features and structure of physical culture values have been analyzed in this paper. The Ukrainian ceremonies related to healthy lifestyle have been systemized and described in the given dissertation. Provided material - the analysis of prosaic folklore - resulted in numeric data on the levels of reflecting certain physical culture phenomena. On the basis of systematized Ukrainian folklore proverbs, sayings, and similes about physical culture, the classification of the latter has been defined considering the degree to which the values of physical culture are reflected in them. In order to explain the ways of implementing the values of physical culture by means of Ukrainian folklore into the process of physical education, the attitude of senior pupils and the teachers of physical training towards Ukrainian folklore as a reflection of the values of physical culture has been analyzed
