Essay

The thesis deals with essential problem of developing intercultural competence in students majoring in economics. The analysis of psychologic, pedagogic and linguistic literature on the issue has been made. The model of building intercultural competence in the students of higher economic educational institutions is worked out and experimentally validated. The model provides objective management of developing intercultural competence. The pedagogical conditiona of building intercultural competence in students of economic specialties are determined and theoretically grounded. Criteria and levels of developed intercultural competence in students majoring in economics are grounded. The validity of the model has been proved.
