Essay

Special attention to the interpretation of symbols of foreign-language scientific text is caused by the importance of this process, as a component of professional development of specialists humanities. Understanding of the interpreted text is factor in the knowledge integration of educational and professional activities. Psychological preconditions for interpretation are the level of creative and intellectual abilities. The interpretation of foreign-language scientific text includes three levels: a) scientific (focus on concrete scientific content of the text; integration of superficial knowledge level), emotional sensory (close to the contents of text mediated by emotions and feelings, unstable at different times, even with respect to the same text) and the creative - the highest level of understanding (shown in deep and qualitative understanding of the text content and the integration of its content in the general structure of educational and professional knowledge). External characteristics of interpretation process are such behavioral strategies as: adaptative (creative understanding of the text), desadaptative (emotional sensory) and stereotyped (scientific) strategy. The process of understanding consists of related components: a) intelligent and b) emotional empatical c) creative d) motivational d) cultural and historical component.
