Essay

The thesis considers the problem of future teachers' psychological peculiarities of self-realization. The research of the problem has undergone theoretical analysis; conceptual approaches towards the study of the motivation of educational and professional self-realization have been defined. Educational and professional self-realization stands for the process of discovery, testing, development, realization of individual's potential while acquiring and performance of educational professional activity. The presented model of educational professional self-realization includes cognitive, purposeful, motivational, creative, and behavioral constituent parts. The levels of these components as characteristic of future teachers have been shown, too. The notion of educational professional self-realization has been explained as well as the specificities of its motives. The formation of these motives is considered to be mediated by the existing, real motivation. Psychological and pedagogical conditions of formation of motives for educational professional self-realization have been constituted. The developmental psychological-pedagogical program influencing the formation of these motives has been constructed and tested. The program proved to be effective due to the positive dynamics of self-realization indices of students of experimental group.
