Object: Masters' training as a component of life-long professional education. Aim: to reveal the peculiarities of information technology Masters' professional training in the USA and to substantiate the possibilities of a creative use of progressive ideas of the American experience in Ukraine. Practical importance: there have been substantiated scientific-methodological recommendations as to the improvement of Masters' training in general and implementation of distance training of IT Masters in Ukraine; there have been developed a special course and a distance course.
