The international competitive relations of national bank systems of the countries. Complex research of an essence and factors of formation of competitiveness of national bank systems; disclosing of key components of increase of the competitive status of bank system as bases of national economy competitiveness, and working out of scientifically well-founded mechanism of maintenance of Ukrainian banking system competitiveness in the conditions of eurointegration. The historian-logical, factorial analysis, quantitative and qualitative comparisons, economic-statistical, prediction and expert assessment. It is determined key factors of maintenance of competitiveness of national bank systems in the conditions of regional and global integration. It is analysed the nature of the first global financial crisis 2007-2010 by disclosing of its bank component that has allowed to define the mechanism of redistribution of financial shocks between the countries. It is established the reasons, character and consequences of transformation of national bank systems of the postsocialist countries of Europe. The organizational-institutional mechanism of formation of competitive model of bank system of Ukraine is proved. Results concerning working out of strategy of maintenance of competitiveness of national bank system of Ukraine in a context of integration of domestic bank system in uniform European financial space are introduced.
