Ryabenko E. Education as a factor of the social state development: social and philosophical analysis

The social state is systematically characterized in the thesis as a natural result of an impact of national education system in the context of evolving knowledge society and knowledge economy. The education system, being one of the indicators of the state's social features, is described as a forming factor of a sovereign nation-state, on the basis of which modern welfare states emerged. The main areas of the social state optimization in the discourse of national education modernization are: democratization of education, autonomy of universities, entrance to the international and European higher education area, conditions for the mobility of educational process participants, combination of production and science, research and education, promotion of private sector in education.
