Object - the process of changing the psychophysiological state of man under the influence of ultra low temperature. Purpose - to establish the qualitative and quantitative regularities of changes in psycho-physiological state of a human organism under the influence of ultra-low temperature. Methods - physiological, psychological, laboratory, anthropometric, biophysical and statistical. The results of the present study provides theoretical justification of the extremal crytherapy method in practical medicine. The present study has provided theoretical justification of using the extremal crytherapy method in practical medicine for optimization of the psycho-physiological state of human being. Novelty - It has been studied the possibilities of human organism functioning in the extreme environment. It was proposed the model that reflects the general biological regularities of reaction of the thermoregulatory system during the courses of cryotherapy. It was established the safety of the method of extreme cryotherapy in medical practice. The results of study have been implemented in educational high school, in medical practice of rehabilitation centers, therapeutic, rheumatological, dermatological clinics. Branch - medicine (normal physiology).
