Li Y. Legal foundations of PRC and EU cooperation

The dissertation is dedicated to the research of political, legal and economic grounds of relations between People's Republic of China and European Union. It is made integrated analysis of treaty mechanism of cooperation between PRC and EU, main forms of cooperation of PRC and EU and influence of the EU law on the legal order of PRC. Special attention is paid to the investigation of political, legal and economic backgrounds of cooperation between PRC and EU. On basis of integral research of contemporary legal acts which constitutes the ground of the relations of PRC and European Union, it is reasoned the necessity of working-out of contemporary treaty base for functioning of cooperation mechanism, namely execution of new framework Agreement on partnership and cooperation, In addition, the international treaties and other legal acts, which regulate trade relations between China and EU, are covered and analysed. Special attention is paid to the research of antidumping regulation in European Union and reception by China of experience of EU in this sphere. In the dissertation it is emphasised on the peculiarities of legal regulation of relations between PRC and EU in sphere of investments. In this respect it is researched the legal ground of investment activity in PRC, which ensures implementation of Chinese-European relations in this sphere.
