Kapranovа L. Transforming the international market of steel products in the global economic crisis

Objects of study are processes of transformation in the international market of steel products to the global economic crisis. The aim of the thesis is to develop the theoretical and methodological foundations of research on the transformation of international industrial markets and the development of scientific and practical recommendations for the development of the national steel industry in the context of inclusion in the international market of steel products to the global economic crisis. Methods: a systematic approach, historical approach, analysis and synthesis methods for structural and comparative analysis, statistical analysis, economic-mathematical modeling and forecasting, etc. Theoretical results: is to deepen existing theoretical and methodological bases for research on the transformation of international industrial markets in the economic crisis and the development of scientific and practical recommendations for the development of the national steel industry in view of transformational change in the world steel market. Practical results: scientific results are of scientific and practical importance and can be used in the process of improving the competitiveness of steel products in Ukraine in the international market amid the global economic crisis. Scientific novelty: the first time: a logical and consistent pattern of transformation of the international steel market, improved: the theoretical basis of research of transformation processes in the global economy, namely the developed structural and logical scheme of the main stages and types of transformation process, have been developed: a generalized classification of markets, conceptual and categorical apparatus of the international economy through the provision of the copyright of definitions of concepts: the economic cycle, economic crisis, organizational-economic mechanism of crisis management by developing a mechanism to release the metallurgical industry of Ukraine from the crisis. Degree of implementation: results of a study implemented in practice Donetsk Regional State Administration, the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce; Mariupol City Council, the Regional Branch of the National Institute for Strategic Studies in Donetsk, Mariupol Mettallurgical Plant after name of Ilyich, and also used in the learning process of Priazovsky State Technical University.
