Essay

In the research it is proved that the most important personal characteristics that cause high levels of individual susceptibility to risk are qualities, related to the cognitive component, volitional component represented by the power of "I" and the component which collected the signs of emotional lability or instability of personality, which tend to situational manifestation. It is established that rescuer's decision-making consists of three steps: 1) assessment of situation by an expert, 2) assessment of rescue capabilities, and 3) the decision to act (sometimes unconscious).
